Abstract

 The aim of this research is to know the internal conflict in GOLKAR partai which HAS influenced to the local governments. The method of the research is library one. The references are taken from the literature of the library in Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Samarinda. The most signicant materials are taken from the local newspaper Tribun Kaltim and Kaltimpost. The research has been carried out for one month in Samarinda. Polical party is the key of the governmet so it is badly needed to support the legislative, executive and judicative as well because it is the representative body of the peoples. So if it is involved the conflict either the internal or external it will disturb not only the government but also the state. Really any conflict will make emotion and anger which are dangerous for the peoples throughout the country. The conflict started from the error of some members to hold a National Dialog in Bali which must be held in January 2015 not in December 2014 as arranged in the decision of the Riau National Dialog. Then it has become the fire of he conflict between the two blocks  of Aburzal Bakrie against Agung Laksono. The main core of conflict is egoism. It causes to make two blocks which are useless. The results of the conflict is the loss of the peoples’trust. The two blocks directed by Vice President Yusup Kala and the president Joko Widodo will help them solve the problems. The suggestions of this research is (1).Both have a good will (2).Both must arrange the National Dialog (3).No one will be dominant (4).If the conflict goes on it will be collapsed.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study focused on the implementation of teaching English for young learners at the third grade. Implementation means application process of idea, concept, and policy or innovation in practical act that gave impact and also change in knowledge, skill, value, and attitude (Kunandar, 2007-233).             The purposes of this study are intended to find out the implementation English teacher teach English for young learners and the problems faced by the teacher in the process of teaching and learning English for young learners of SDN 018 Samarinda.            The researcher conducted the observation for three meetings in the third grade of SDN 018 Samarinda. The researcher used steps in collecting data: (1) Doing the observation by using the teacher observation form as a guide, and (2) Conducting the interview to the teacher. To analyze the data, the researcher consist of three concurrent flows of activity in the model: data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing/verification.The result in terms of implementation of teaching and learning process, the teacher has different way and result in observation. The results of teaching and learning depend on teacher’ process of ides, concept, policy or innovation, knowledge, skill, value and attitude in the way of teaching method and the problems faced by the teacher teaching English for young learners were 1) Facility for English teaching. 2) The large number of the students in the classroom in doing the exercise. 3) The students' parents who do not support their children in learning English.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the solutions of the students' problem on speaking skill , through implementing pair work activities using functional languages examples.The goal of teaching speaking skill is to communicate efficiency. Learners should be able to make themselves understood, using their current proficiency to the fullest. They should try to avoid confusion in the message due to faulty pronunciation, grammar, or vocabulary, and to observe the social and cultural rules that apply in each communication situation.Learning to speak English requires more than knowing its grammatical and semantic rules. Students need to know how native speakers use the language in the context of structured interpersonal exchange. Effective oral communication requires the ability to use the language appropriately in social interactions. This research used a classroom action research ( CAR )  of the targeted to the first year students of SMP Negeri 21 Samarinda to be achieved. Based on analysis and discussion of the findings that the implementation of pair – work activities using functional language examples in teaching speaking was useful  to improve the students' speaking competence. Both pair – work and functional examples provided good models and facilitated students to practice and to keep repeating using the spoken language to achieve a particular level proficiency.

Abstract

"The Effect of Direct and Indirect Compensation on Employee Performance CV. New Semi Samarinda "The purpose of this analysis is to determine how much influence kompensansi directly and indirectly to the performance of an employee CV . New semi Samarinda . As a trading company that is large enough , then the CV. New semi Samarinda provide better compensation system for its employees , so that the employee's performance can also be improved by working well with good results, in the form of a high level of sales in the sales results. To determine the influence of the compensation (direct and indirect) to increase employee productivity , then this analysis using multiple linear regression analysis tools.

Abstract

This research was conducted to know the effect of using  Reciprocal Teaching Strategy to improve the students’ reading comprehension and also to know what type of reading comprehension are dominantly affected by using Reciprocal Teaching. The research applied Quasi-Experimental design. This research was designed into two groups; Experimental group and Control group. Each group consisted of 36 students. The sample was chosen by using simple random technique which used lottery technique. The data were collected through multiple choice reading test both in experimental group and control group namely pretest and posttest. The data collected through reading test were analyzed by using SPSS 20.0 version.The research findings showed that the mean score and standard deviation for each group, getting fair classification on their posttest result,  means that both experimental which uses Reciprocal Teaching Strategy and control group which uses Direct Teaching method in measuring students’ reading ability have same improvement or there was no difference significantly between both of them(t observe= 1.729< t table = 1.999 and p=0.08 > 0.05). Besides, all three levels of comprehension improved. It was proven by comparison of mean score of pretest and posttest on all level of both groups. The difference of pretest and posttest mean score both of groups was statistically significant to inferential and critical level (p=0.03). Although, this research have a little bit of improvement in experimental group but the result still be believed that using reciprocal teaching affect dominantly in improving inferential and critical comprehension. It means that this strategy can support reader to get the comprehensible one of different genre of reading text.

Abstract

This studyaims to describethe effect of motivation on students' academic achiev ementlevelIIat Nursing Academy Dirgahayu Samarinda.This study is quantitative with associative purpose, namely to explain causal relationships between variable ‘X’and variable ‘Y’. The variables of the study is the motivation (X) as the independent variable and student achievement (Y) as the dependent variable.To measure the variables of this study used a questionnaire to the respondent based on the indicator predetermined. The population of this study were all students of Nursing Academy Dirgahayu registered at BAAK and be active in lecturing starts from class of 2009 to 2012. Of this population, taken as many as 157 respondents as sampling study. The data analysis technique used is the technique of descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis technique that aims to assess the research variablesThe results showed that: (1) Student of Nursing Academy Dirgahayu at level 2 who have high creativity as much as 21.51%, high enough creativity 49.42%, less high creativity 25,58% and low creativity 3.49%. Thus the students of Nursing Academy Dirgahayu at level 2tends to be quite high creativity. (2) Student of Nursing Academy Dirgahayu at level 2 who have a visual learning style as much as 44.19%, kinesthetic learning style 24.42% and auditory learning styles 30.82%. (3) Student of Nursing Academy Dirgahayu at level 2 who have medical-surgical learning achievement as very competent 35.47%, quite competent 37.21%, a competent 18.60%, and less competent 8.72%. Thus the medical-surgical student learning achievement of Nursing Academy Dirgahayu at level 2 is competent enough. (4) There is a positive and significant relationship between creativity and learning styles with medical-surgical student learning achievement (correlation coefficient of 0.906 and the value of determination coefficient of 0.820), or variance of learning achievement in medical-surgical is 82% can be explained by creativityvariable and learning stylevariable. (5) There is a positive and significant relationship between creativity and academic achievement surgical medical students (a correlation coefficient of 0.900 and the value of determination coefficient of 0.809), or learning achievement in medical-surgical variance of 80.9% can be explained by the variable creativity. (6) There is a positive and significant relationship between learning styles and academic achievement surgical medical students (a correlation coefficient of 0.393 and the value of determination coefficient of 0.154), or learning achievement in medical-surgical variance of 15.4% can be explained by the creativity variable and learning stylesvariable. (7) There is no difference significantly between students who have a visual-auditory learning style, kinesthetic visual, and kinesthetic auditory learning achievement in surgical medical students.

Abstract

Improving the way of organizational communication means improving organization itself comprehensively. Communications plays important role in creating an ideal organization, changing organization, and producing outcomes. Internal communication aims to integrate all the people within organization, and achieving a positive climate in organization itself. One of the core in theoritical study of Public Relations is how to build and maintain a good relationship with internal public, such as employee. Solid internal relationship is needed to achieve organization’s objectives, and furthur more it will influence toorganization’s image in external public point of view.

Abstract

 The profit is the dream of every profit-oriented company.  It can be expressed in various levels of understanding. Classification of profitcan be observed from several aspects.  One among others that the profits seen from the financial report, it is divided into the gross profit,profit before interest and tax (EBIT), profit before tax and profit after tax or net profit. Each of these benefit terms are meaningful for stakeholders and shareholders. Profits can be used for reflectingprofitability, it depends on the intended profitability indicators.Profitability of a company will affect the policy of the investors on the investment made. The company's ability to generate profits will be able to attract investors to invest their funds in order to expand its business, otherwise the low level of profitability that will cause investors to withdraw their funds. Value of profitability can be the norm for the health of the company.  Profitability is the company's ability to generate profits or profit that will be the basis of dividen. Profitability describes the ability of businesses to generate profits using all capital owned.Any gains may be a reflection of profitability. However, it should be distinguished by profitability indicators to be addressed, due to it can be measured by various criteria (Gross profit margin, Operating income ratio/Operating profit margin, Net profit margin/sales margin, Earning power of total investment/Rate of return on total assets, Net earnings power ratio/rate of return on investment and Net earning power ratio/rate of return on investment).Profitability is very meaningful to management at various levels in the workplace as well as evaluating the performance of each unit as well as a unified company/organization.  Value of profitability is significant for investors, meaningful for the community, significant for banks, meaningful for the government, meaningful for employees mainly in their contribution to the company or organization they work.

Abstract

 Many ways that can be taken in the supervision of the teaching is done by the supervisor. One way is with classroom observation. Through classroom observations will help assess and improve the factors that affect the learning process of learners. In addition to co-ordinate, stimulate and lead to the growth of the teaching profession. Thus, the supervision is done by the supervisor is really a relief, guidance and coaching appropriate and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether a work culture that includes leadership, discipline, motivation, and science and technology affect the performance of employees in the Secretariat of the East Kutai Regency.In this study population is all employees of the Secretariat of the East Kutai Regency, with a total population of 751 people, and the samples taken as many as 75 people. Data in the form of primary data taken using a questionnaire tool. Sampling techniques using Stratified Random Sampling method. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear Regression.The results showed that the culture of work which includes leadership, discipline, motivation and science have positive and significant impact on the performance of employees, either partially or jointly. This is indicated by the F test results with a confidence level of 95% has a probability value of 0.000 and the t test all variables have a probability below 0.05. Regression models were formed Y = 0.054 + 0.182 + 0,271.X1 . X2 + 0,303.X3 + 0,270.X4 correlation coefficient ( R) of 0.717 and the determination coefficient 0.514 means that the relationship between work culture and performance of employee has strong relationship. However, there are other variables that have not been able to determine the variation observed that changes in the performance of employees amounted to 48.6 % .
